Matcha Insight is a small, independent review site. This page explains, in plain English, what happens to data when you visit it.

What we collect directly

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no newsletter, and no comment section on this site. We do not ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal information, and we run no analytics or advertising scripts of our own.

Server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical information when a page is served — including IP address, browser type, and the page requested — for security and reliability purposes. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors. SeeCloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

We do not set cookies. However, when you click an affiliate link on this site, the retailer you land on — most often Amazon — may set its own cookies in order to attribute a purchase to us. That happens on their domain, under their rules, and it is how affiliate commissions work. See our affiliate disclosure for how those links are used.

Third parties

• Amazon Associates. We participate in the Amazon Associates Program. Clicking an Amazon link takes you to Amazon, where Amazon's ownprivacy notice applies.
• Google Search Console. We can see aggregate, anonymized search statistics for this site — which queries showed our pages and how often they were clicked. This contains no personal information about any individual reader.
• Pinterest. We publish pins that link here. Pinterest sets its own cookies on pinterest.com; we include only a verification tag on this site, which collects nothing from you.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete. If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA) and want to ask about data related to your visit, email us at [email protected] and we will respond. Requests about data held by Amazon, Cloudflare, Google, or Pinterest need to go to those companies directly.

Children

This site is intended for adults buying tea and tea ware. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes — for example, if we ever add analytics or a newsletter — we will update this page and the date at the top.
